Bikefest Treadlie Market - applications for Stallholders closes soon!
We are very pleased to announce that Bikefest is teaming up with the wonderful Treadlie Magazine (winners of the Launch of the Year at the 2011 Publishers Australia Excellence Awards) to present a brand new event at the Sustainable Living Festival as part of Bikefest 2012.
We couldn't be more excited about this exciting new partnership between 3 organisations that share a vision for a world in which bikes are a part of everyday life. The Bikefest Treadlie Market will welcome new riders, experienced riders and non riders alike to sample the delights of life on two wheels.
Running over 3 days from Friday 17 February to Sunday 19 February, this FREE event will be hosted by the Sustainable Living Festival's Big Weekend. Which means that 120,000 people are already going!
Over three days, we'll be presenting a Film Night, Swap Meet, Best in Show competition, Carnival Day and the Better by Bike Awards ceremony.
We are also partnering up with the amazing Dirtgirl, the Sustainable Living Festival, The City of Melbourne and Artplay to present Dirtgirl and Scrapboy's Wheelie Workshop, a two-day drop in space for kids aged up to 13 and their families to learn how to be safe on their mini green machines.
